Basics of psychoacoustics
The task of the sound engineer, together with the composer and performer, is to create a sound image and transfer it to the listener with the help of sound recording, sound amplification, broadcasting, soundtrack of cinema and television, etc.
Various directions of modern acoustics are involved in the problems of origin, transmission and perception of sounds, one of which is musical acoustics, which studies the creation of musical sounds (acoustics of musical instruments, acoustics of speech and singing, electroacoustics); transmission of sounds (architectural acoustics, sound recording, amplification and broadcasting, etc.) and sound perception (psychoacoustics – acoustics of hearing). Istria Deep Purple
In March 1968, a group composed of Richie Blackmore – lead guitar, John Lord – organ, backing vocals, Rod Evans – vocals, Nikki Simper – bass, backing vocals, Ian Pace – drums. A new group at the suggestion of Richie decided to call “Deep Purple”. This title was taken from an old song that Grandma Richie loved to listen to.
Richie Blackmore (Ritchie Blackmore) – was born in the English province on April 14, 1945. Already in his youth, he demonstrated a virtuoso possession of a guitar, which caused the desire of many beginning groups in England to have such a solo guitarist in his group. Continue reading
Sympho-electronic music
Electronic music is music whose creation uses electronic musical instruments and technology. Electronic music consists of sounds that are formed using electronic technologies and electromechanical musical instruments. Examples of electromechanical musical instruments are the Tellarmonium, the Hammond organ and the electric guitar. Pure electronic sound is obtained using such instruments as a theremin, a synthesizer and a computer.
Electronic music was previously associated only with Western academic music, but in the late 60s affordable electronic synthesizers appeared. Due to its moderate cost, they are now available to the general public, and not just to major recording studios, as it was before. This event dramatically changed the image of popular music – many rock and pop artists began to use synthesizers.
